They keep telling me that is not a valid illness? I keep filing workman's comp for all the extra work I am doing but they don't count that either. rest and lots of fluids.

It just that there's so much of it. (Probably true of most people, however...)

For the number-crunchers, productivity is the name of the game.

For me, the name of the game is quality medical care.

But who listens to me when there is money to be made?

18. I actually rarely get sick.

And when I do, it's usually on the weekend, like this time. Today was just my illness's way of saying "And another thing..." from 2 blocks away after I'd kicked its ass.

I have my computer, some pajamas, and a Jeroboam of coffee. Close enough...
