In order to protect itself, the cow's body may have gone from four faucets to no faucets, at least external ones.

that is a calf (baby) not a cow (or bull as case may be), maybe about three months old

ranchers in general raise beef cattle not dairy and then the term is usually a farmer not a rancher (and some will get offended if you mix that up although some ranchers do farm and some farmers also ranch - sorry it has to do with crops and range situations mostly)

I "started" before I could walk (given a heifer at my birth by my grandfather) so that kind of lame mistake wasn't ever going to happen. Of course it sort of happens regularly when city friends are involved - not milking but certainly misidentification of livestock classes. Now if you want to know about some of the really embarrassing shit I HAVE done I could tell some stories.

and one of my biggest peeves: cattle come in WAY more colors than Holstein black and white, why is every damn cow toy and decorative object black and white?
