and they say, "The animal goes, or I do" then I tell them not to let the door hit them in the ass on the way out.
A person's attitude toward animals, and any other living thing, speaks volumes about the way they are going to treat you.

The few people I know who were forced to make a decision between a loved pet and a guy always ended up saying later on - I should have kept the pet and gotten rid of the guy.
