Beyonce really ...

... Hit it out of the park. She was terrific yesterday.

Now, Kelly Clarkson, I have to reserve judgment until I watch it, but I have heard not such great reviews.

then both of them showed off a good vocal range.

Kelly may have belted it a bit further, after a quiet start.

I like the national anthem sung clean, with a quicker pace (and the words "play ball" at the end).
