I'm leaving pretty early (if you consider 4 AM early) and the event's in DC (I'm coming from NJ). The drive is all interstates and I drive a Subaru so I'm not terribly worried about the job.

I'm more worried about the event as my professional life is on the line.

19. Just a quick update

I think the event went pretty well (although I didn't see anyone I knew there as I expected to).

I'm in a better place than I thought I was, and I've determined what my next steps are going to be (PM me if you want more details as I'm hesitant to post on a public forum). I work in a very competitive field (I'm a campaign staffer) and I have the connections to work (at least 1) race this year. I just want to be on the road ASAP.
