"Once there was a Hushpuppy, and she lived with her Daddy in the Bathtub."

I've now seen all the Oscar contenders for Best Picture (OK, fine, not Les Misérables yet). I'll say this: If Beasts of the Southern Wild doesn't win this category, I'm not sure why we even bother. Yes, many great films, but none come close.

But Beasts of the Southern Wild looks wonderful, I will rent it along with the others before 2/24 so I can be disappointed when my choice doesn't win.
