A home has been found!!
Back on Jan 6 I posted a thread that this little fella needed a home. http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018273686
We weren't having much luck finding him home and today fate stepped in. I got home from the store and a guy and his wife were sitting in their car across the street from my house. I guess he didn't want me to freak out at some random dude just sitting there so he told me he was waiting for his tow truck to come to pick up some cars he'd just bought from the guy who lives across the street from me.
I thought he might have been looking at the house next door to me--which is now for rent/sale--and also where the people who had Powder lived and who dumped him. I told him I was hoping to get some good neighbors and he said he did call about it for his son. I told him about the people who lived there and the dogs and they asked about Powder. Their dog of 13 years had died and they were looking for another.
I brought Powder out thinking he would be afraid, well he wasn't he took right to the people and them to him. They fell in love with each other. We talked a while longer and they told me they had 5 year old twin girls and their daughter in law was a vet. They also lived on a farm. So now Powder is in a home with kids to play with him, plenty of room to run and it looks like he'll be spoiled rotten.
They friended me on fb so I could see pics of Powder and see how he's doing.
I'm so happy it worked out for him.
