On ABC news yesterday they showed a little town in Alaska where they've gotten 12 *FEET* of snow so far!

7. Bummer! Not that much snow here. Our ski areas are okay, but not that great. No snow near the Sound.

Here's the latest report from one of the closer ski areas:

'Snowfall depth for 2011-2012 winter season
A total of 125 inches has fallen at Snoqualmie Pass through January 8, 2012, which means the pass has received 28.3 percent of the five-year seasonal average of 441 inches of total snowfall.'

Are you guys at least getting rain? That ought to help you get through the summer. Our water supply traditionally came from snowmelt. There will probably be record temperatures this summer, everywhere.

I had to shovel the steps and ramp into my house 2 or 3 times, with about a half inch each time. It was so warm each time we had a bit of snow that it melted upon impact on the concrete of the walks and driveways. I love this. Right now in Detroit, its sunny and 48.

Alas, the party is soon over, said to get much more seasonable, with the potential for some snow, after tomorrow.

Nice while it lasted, I look forward to spring.

IF moving were an option, which it isn't, I'd find some place where it almost never snows.

But there has been plenty of rain, and a cold front is on the way. Last year at this time, we were digging out of a snow storm. I am not complaining because love cold weather. Bring it on!!!

the Nebraska panhandle it's so warm outside that wasps are flying around.

I'm not crazy about snow and cold weather, but these warm temps aren't good, and they confuse Mother Nature. That's bad.

15. This is the first winter in a long time that I have NOT been depressed.

I always thought it was lack of sunlight. I tried full-spectrum bulbs. I tried vitamins. I tried everything suggested for seasonal affective disorder.

This year, no problems yet......I have determined that it is the stress from my commute every day in bad weather.

Yippee for the good weather and sunshine!!!!!!!!
