(149,588 posts)I"m so sorry you're ill...
But at least you have THE Will Shakespeare to sit up with you, commiserating with your current lousy state...
Does he have any particularly appropriate texts that will help you feel better?

(149,588 posts)And I know that line! From the St. Crispin's Day speech in Henry V!
That speech made me want to join up and fight, and I'm a pacifist!
Take care, my dear Aristus...

(66,316 posts)But I'm always moved by the lines immediately preceding:
"We few, we happy few..."
Kenneth Branagh teared up saying those words in the film. (Wow; okay. Now I'm doing it...) He made it seem as if Henry knew he was going to die, but was glad to be in the company of men who wanted to be there. That's some powerful acting...

What, the fair Ophelia!
Queen:
[Scattering flowers] Sweets to the sweet, farewell!
I hop'd thou shouldst have been my Hamlet's wife:
I thought thy bride-bed to have deck'd, sweet maid,
And not have strew'd thy grave.

(66,316 posts)I'm not ready for my grave just yet, but if it is imminent, I'll try to die as prettily as Ophelia...
