Those power chords go right through my body, also I like the subtle differences in the riffs as well ( either that, or I never could notice them on the original Thin Lizzy tune )

I didn't know Gary Moore was still rocking, and I'm glad to see he still is.

Previous to the "Jailbreak" album, which included "Boys are Back". Garry was/is more of a blues guy, while Scott Gorham was more of a hard rock/metal guy. I saw them live, opening for Queen, on the Jailbreak/Night at the Opera tour. RIP Phil Lynott....

Coupla - 3 tasty bits:

Friends = Thin Lizzy, pretty much

Scott Gorham shows his chops:

Can't believe I didn't know he was in Thin Lizzy though.

Because I frequently request the Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey in the Jar, a musician friend of mine from Dublin told me tales about hanging out with Phil Lynott and his mates when they were young'uns.

This is my friend, Pete. There's no video, but picture him after a few pints doing any song by Joe Cocker. Pretty fookin' funny.

Comes up in a lot of the you-tube comments, for both Garry Moore and Thin Lizzy - especially about T/L's drummer Brian Robertson

I never cared about this song at the time, but I associate it with "The Boys Are Back in Town" because it was on the same JUKEBOX at my favorite hangout...
