Feeling good for doing right

Back ground, 8 years ago I started a program with a co-worker that had more experience in it then I did. I had none he had 4 years. Found out after he left he was gay. Two years later after building a great program the school let him go (too aggressive though the kids loved him). Program was an award winner in 3 years. Fast forward to 2012, I was moved out of the school and have been in the same program somewhere else instructing the same subject. Needed help, found out he lived in the area and I asked him to come give me a hand. Long story short, I've just got him back into the program and hired by the school and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Bottom line, those who give a shit about sexual preference don't have a clue on what really counts , performance, and how you relate to your students is all that matters.

May be disjointed but after a few celebratory glasses of wine for getting a friend and co-worker back I ask for forgiveness.
