I know what you mean. What ever pain meds don't give me hives and make me itch, make me puke or feel like it, is the one that gives me insomnia. I have chronic pain, that I manage. My last pain pill of the day has to be at least 4 hours before bedtime or I will be restless and unable to drop off.

After surgeries, I used the Soma at night. Now, I take my larger dose of lyrica at bedtime. I do pretty well.
