Most Deranged Sorority Email Ever
I needed a break from Boston so I spent some time in Gawker and came across this. I hope it hasn't been posted already.
It's sent by an executive of the Maryland chapter of Delta Gamma who's pissed at the chapter's inability to bond with their Greek Week matchup frat Sigma Nu. I've never gotten the draw of Greek life but man does this girl take it a little too seriously or what? I saw it on Gawker first and then Alison Haislip does an incredible dramatic reading of the email on Youtube. Language is definitely not suitable for work or those of with a sensitive disposition to such things. http://gawker.com/5994974/the-most-deranged-sorority-girl-email-you-will-ever-read on edit: OMG (said in sorority speak of course) this was post # 9,000.

1. Nobody does bitch better (or worse) than a pissed off sorority sister!
She will, no doubt, aspire to a life in politics as a republican...think Michele Bachman or Virginia Foxx! Of course, she will have to clean up that mouth first.

2. Ah, I see that you've encountered the type, too.
Ever ask yourself, "self, what the hell was I thinking?"
The answer, of course, was that I allowed my little brain to "assume the conn" to wax nautical, and put the big brain on standby reserve. |

3. Ah ha! Nope.......
I never pledged a sorority...but encountered many because I dated so many fraternity brothers...nothing drives a 'sister' crazier than an 'interloper'.
![]() My son was president of his chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha... it was not an easy crew to keep in line! He remains on good terms with both his little and big sisters... in fact he was in his big sister's wedding several months ago. And of course, there are the lifelong friendships that form. Like everything else in life, there are positives and negatives... I'm willing to bet there are a few brothers with whom you remained in contact for years and years. |

4. Can someone explain the concept of match-up?
Who would have been in charge of the pairing, what is the executive's plan, and what would be so terrible if it didn't come to pass?

Oy. I have a feeling that's how my family sees me sometimes.

10. I'd hate being on a date with her.
not because of her repeated use of "Fuck" but because of her whole attitude.
Hell, Donna could outdo her in the use of the word when she got on a roll, but her personality was much better. |
