While everyone here was fretting about Newt, I was at a party show.
the Austin Bellydance Association put on their annual "I Survived The Holidaze" show. 2 hours of dancing to nontraditional music. Dancing to rock, techno, country, classical and folk music.
Lots of fun and my friend that I took with me had a blast-she had never seen that before.
I know some people that have been doing this for years and they invited me.
