Yeah, I think we could see the inevitable results coming a mile away.

Are you all right now?

A slice of apple and a few stalks of celery for a midnight snack would have killed you?

Feel better...

I wouldn't eat that at a normal time. I'm trying to get ready for my first 5k. Thanks though.

I ran outside for the first time today. Very different from the treadmill. Did pretty good. A mile in 12 minutes. I'm trying to do better.

I'm doing the 30 day squat challenge. 50 on the first day increasing by 5 each day for 30 days. I'm on day 4 which is a rest day. My kids are worried about me doing it, they'd rather I didn't. I'll do it till I can't.

How are you?

edited to add: I had already done 2 miles on the treadmill

I do crossfit, so a few of us at my gym tried it.
Running on trails is a delight. I live across from a protected forest. Such zen.

Good luck with your training!

I can't imagine doing 250 squats at one time. That would be bad ass! I'm learning about weights too; though I love working with ketllebells. I wish I'd done a lot of this sooner.

I liked running outside. There are hiking/running trails right down the road from me, my goal is to run on those by the end of the month. Trying to get my pace right.

I'm doing the Run or Dye in August. Really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the well wishes!

Glad to hear you didn't eat that monster, any time of the day.

Glad to hear the preparations are going well. Sounds like you're rocking and rolling.

Sounds like after-bar food to me! Add a cup of that old "diner style" bitter coffee to get that last food group in, and you are good to go home and sleep it off!

Laura

FYI, the four basic food groups for after bar food (as determined by extensive study by my buddies "The Walking Livers&quot are grease, bacon, carbs, and caffeine.
