I am so tired of the rain!

Oklahoma City was in a severe drought in January and we now have more water then we know what to do with. I would gladly donate some of the water to the west/southwest part of the state that still needs rain.

It has gotten so bad that I now have to pump out my crawlspace when it rains. Hopefully it will stop raining tomorrow for a few days. Once is stops raining tomorrow I will have to crawl under the house to move the pump. UGH! It will be muddy and nasty. I am so ready for 100 degree summer weather to dry things out.

In the 17 years that I have lived in Oklahoma, I have never seen it rain in the OKC metro area like has been raining. We were in a severe drought in January and they actually implemented odd/even water rationing. Now our rainfall is more then 12 inches ahead of what the annual total is generally. And southwest Oklahoma really needs rain. I am so not looking forward to crawling under the house to move the pump. I am pumping what I can by setting the pump just inside the crawlspace. I will wait until it stops raining sometime tomorrow and I have pumped as much out as I can before I go under the house. It is going to be so muddy. It took me forever to clean off the mud last Sunday.
