That third VU album is incredible. Deserves every bit of praise it's gotten.

That's awesome. About the best thing that could have happened under the circumstances.

I can remember humming this for much of a particular afternoon when I was very, very happy...
This one, love it as I do, always leaves me ice....

Was way back in my adventurous youth: I had been in a police cell for several days near the Equator, very hot, when they decided to let me go I walked around a bit, that song in my head somehow, after a bit stepped into a little bar, bought a bottle of mineral water, which I proceeded to pour over my head. This drew some stares, to which I replied that I was just out of jail, at which everybody grinned and the bartender gave me a beer.

But it could have gone other ways, very easily. It felt really good to be out.

Sad, Adriana Calconhoto, Mentiras
There was never a video for the song, so people put together their own illustrations.
Happy, Rosa, Olodum
Version from the original album, O Movimento. No video.
Most of the live versions are recorded on the streets of Bahia, so the sound quality is bad. This version has decent sound quality but is not the original singer
