I worked for an environmental lobbying group in D.C. for a little while in the 80's. We
had a big office on the 12th floor of a fairly old building with a SHAKY elevator. The
rest of the offices were filled with corporate types (you could tell instantly who was
who by the clothes we wore).

Mornings and following lunch, that elevator would be filled with a mix of each. At a
pre-arranged signal, all the "damned hippies" would start to pogo enthusiastically in
that rickety old elevator.
