8. I've heard of people using those "Redeem for a FREE cup of coffee at Starbuck's!" coupons.

And then, instead of ordering a $3 cup like normal people, they see how much stuff they can cram into it and jack up the cost of their 'free' cup. I don't know if these rumors are true, but having worked in retail, I know the degree to which some people will go to abuse offers of free stuff.
