I just bought a book about Conn Smyth the Canadain Hockey bigwig. It is about

his time in professional hockey, management as well as his time in the WWII. My grandfather served with him. I'm so excited. I'll get a little look see into what my grandfather went through in WWII. I've already looked through the index and my grandfather is no listed. I don't care. I know I will feel the connection to history anyhow.

Anybody else read books that talked about things family members had been through?
