The practical fashion item is proving a hit in China after an image of the garment was posted on the country’s version of Twitter.

‘Super sexy, summertime anti-pervert full-leg-of-hair stockings, essential for young girls going out,’ read an attached caption, according to Shanghai-based bloggers ChinaSMACK.

Women about to splash out on a pair of the bushy stockings may want to think again however, with the legwear receiving a mixed response from the public.
