Greater love hath no man than...

He will free his six year old granddaughter's birthday gift of a Barbie Hair Salon (I didn't give it to her.) from it's near impenetrable plastic and cardboard prison.

Ho-lee Shit!
Clever people them heathen Chinee.

Yeah, I understand that their crap products have to survive intact an ocean voyage, truck travel, and rough handling.
So they LOAD 'em up with fasteners.
LOTS of fasteners.

Penetrating and removing the bubble plastic cover was bad enough.
Then I found Barbie was BOUND (S&M?) to a cardboard backing by about a thousand almost invisible plastic threads.

Granddaughter knows I'm armed with a small Victorinox pocket knife equipped with a tiny pair of scissors.
SNIP-SNIP-SNIP-SNIP-SNIP.....
ad nauseum.

Eventually Barbie was freed along with her hair 'inserts' (?) What do you call those things?
And the comb and brush and the tiara and on and on.

And granddaughter is a happy girl.
"Thank you Baba."

It was all worth it...I guess.

Especially when they're packed in a plastic clamshell. The kicker is you need scissors to open scissors.
