(20,776 posts)kept it, since it was so cool. It was from an Animation that I saw sometime back, but forget which one it was. Thought she was cute though.

(20,776 posts)I used to enjoy going to the theatre, but people are always ruining a movie by talking or using their cellphones. I do miss the popcorn though. Guess I will have to get my own air popper next month, so I can enjoy that as well! (buttered of course)
yummy!

(204,748 posts)Though there was a time I went quite a lot. I've only seen a couple of movies at the theater in the past couple of years. Before that, the last one I saw was "Fahrenheit 911!" It's more comfortable at home and they come and go so fast anyway... ;hi:

(20,776 posts)The last time I went, there was a couple in front of me making out during the entire movie. I wanted to scream "Get a room!" but about half way though the movie, I got up and moved to the other side of the theatre, and I missed most of the dialog. They were so loud and distracting... why couldn't they have sat in the back? But I can not stand to go to the movies these days.. if you pay 10 to 15 dollars for a movie, you should not have to put up, with others ruining the experience. Later, I watched the same film on line, and I actually got to know what was happening...
People think the movie theatre is their bed room, or living room and don't even care that the people around them are trying to watch it also. I would just rather watch on line, or rent a film..than have to put up with some of the idiocy that goes on at a movie theatre.

(204,748 posts)There are few movies that I want to see badly enough to make a point of seeing them in the theater. The last one I really felt that way about was "Fahrenheit 911." It took awhile to be shown close enough that it was worth the drive, but it was totally worth it. Every seat was filled and strangers were actually talking to each other. I sat next to an older woman who was there with her husband and son and, without knowing me at all, she just started complaining about Bush* to me... I recommended DU to her.
And everyone applauded at the end. I can't remember that happening at any other movie...
