I can't make hamster-mail but know how to make a giant wooden metal-banded war-hammer....like a 10# sledge. Hammer some spikes into the striking surface and you've got a nasty weapon.

With a grip modified for little tiny paws? Because it seems to me that there is currently a well-armored but unarmed hamster out there, with a seriously spendthrift owner...

Something that much fun should be illegal to get paid for but apparently it's not.

Whoever paid that was making a contribution to a charity that they wanted to support.

That said, it was rather well made armor.

An Iraq vet from Ohio found an old book at a flea market. It was a copy of The Federalist Papers. It looked old, but he had paid something like $8 for it, so it was one of those "naaah, couldn't be" type of situations. Still, he got it to some friends of mine in Dallas, who authenticated it for him, auctioned it off for him for over $80,000 and, in light of his otherwise dire financial situation, even waived their seller's fee.

They also sold an original Sgt. Pepper's album cover autographed by all four Beatles for nearly $300,000 for somebody (don't know who).

Beats working, if you can pull it off.
