What happened to the jumptheshark website?

I haven't been there in several years but it appears to have been bought and suppressed by TV Guide!

Have the contents been archived anywhere because it's even blocked in the wayback machine ("because of robots.txt"

What a letdown...

5. The guy who started the site sold it to TVGuide.

His name is John Heine (spelling may be wrong). He works for Howard Stern now. And has had a few shows on tv. He got a nice payday for it too. Good guy actually, I like hearing him on the radio & his shows were fun. A bit low budget, but fun. A fast food show & a collectors show with another Stern show guy. The producer, Gary.

6. Jon Hein, there's a Wikipedia page on him...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Hein

Hein sold his company, Jump The Shark, Inc., to Gemstar (owners of TV Guide) on June 20, 2006[2] for "over $1 million".[3] Some Stern staff have speculated that the site sold closer to $5$10 million, however.[4] The TV Guide website has since redirected the original jumptheshark.com website. For some time, the website was replaced with a celebrity gossip message board. As of June 2013, the domain simply redirects to TV Guide's home page.

7. Well I suppose I would have taken the money too

But this rather smacks of censorship by TV guide. Shame about all that content.
