warnings all around me. Aren't you in Northern CO, too?

I had to park my car outside--keeping fingers crossed no damage....

But it is days like this I am grateful to have a basement. FIngers crossed we get rain and no major damage/flooding.

As long as it's not too violent. I near have to contain whoops of joy when I see one roll in on a torrid day: The darkening of the sky giving us a break from the sun. The shifting cool downdrafts. The storm itself as the temperature can go from 96 to 68 in minutes.

Sure it's short lived, and we often pay dearly one it has passes as the air gets muggier yet, but I'll take any chance I can to give a raised middle finger to summer.

Here in the German Rheinland, if it dropped 20°F, we'd be near blizzard conditions, seeing as how it has been in the low 50s(F) and raining for a week!

Summer here was on a Tuesday this year, and it came early.
