So I've been running ads on over 3000 web sites, incl. DU...

...promoting a song from my band's CD. The promo campaign has run for a month now.

DU Star Members will, of course, not see these ads, but I'm wondering if anybody else out there (non-Star freeloaders like me) has seen them, besides me?

It's for Green Sparkle Frog, "She's That Kind of Girl" - the ads link to a free download of the song, via ReverbNation.com.

Any feedback from anyone would be appreciated, thanks.

...it is my own, and it just broke down from old age, like 7-8 years oldish.

It may take a week or two to get it, or something else, up and running.

My sysadmin is researching new hardware/software options.

The ads, however, are not directed to our web site, thankfully.

Many thanks for your reply!

...sorry for any confusion. Never heard of the band O'Dette.

You may stream our whole record, "Die Happy..." at ReverbNation.com, which is where you go when you click on the ad banners.

Also, our greensparklefrog.com web site is currently down, sorry about that.

...are you in the obscure hair band that few ever heard of, which happened to post a song with the same title on youtube?

If so, sue me.

Otherwise, your comment is duly noted.

.

I am in no way hostile to your song.

Tried to point out that you are competing with another song with the same title - and that could well be a stumbling block.

You sent me a snarky response when I was only trying to be of assistance.

You asked - why you were not getting positive responses

I offered an answer

I get this rude response from you.

so rest assured, I will not offer my assistance in the future.

Other than an apology, I will not respond to any more remarks from you.

I do not put people on "ignore"

My brain can do that.

...has nothing to do with my ad.

They are not cross referenced by the ad source I use.

My "snark" was motivated by your equally snarky "get it?" remark, referencing a band almost nobody ever heard of.

I also do not use the ignore function, so whatever, I could care less.

and probably has nothing do with this particular song's general reach & publicity on the Internet. There are many thousands of songs with duplicate titles, and many of those are even directly covered tunes.

Doing it through your own Adwords account, or something ReverbNation handles?
