Someone at a movie today became one of my favorite people

So I saw World War Z today. Showing up late there weren't many spots left and we ended up having to be next to a group of three teenage girls, quite young even by that standard. Good example of the problem with PG-13, didn't hurt the actual movie that much but meant some awful people in the crowd. These three could be the most obnoxious I've ever seen in a movie. One actually was carrying and clutching a teddy bear, an odd person to be seeing World War Z. I knew things were going to be bad with the first trailer for The Conjouring, a bunch of shrieks and even kicking at every jump spot. Similar behavior through every trailer, and I've seen people act obnoxious at trailers but then shut up in the actual movie. Unfortunately this didn't happen. Constant whispering to each other that was still clearly audible, one would do very audible heavy breathing during tense scenes (and then a shriek if anything jumped out) and they would shout out suggestions or try to finish dialogue to the screen. I noticed that another group of teenage girls who were moderately noisy themselves but nowhere on that level had one person leave the seat and move to an empty one on the other side of them to get away from them.

Well eventually one lady sitting in front of them got sick of it. I noticed her turning around a couple times at them. At one point the girl with the teddy bear had it out on her lap. So she just grabbed the teddy bear and tossed it down the stairs. I noticed that they just kind of stared, and then the girl with it slowly walked down to get it back and came back to her seat. And then they actually mostly shut up the rest of the movie.

Have to hand it to that lady. The thought crossed my mind a few times, but she had the guts to actually do it.

get up in your seat and squat. It blocks their view. I guarantee they will ask you to sit down. When they do tell them when they are quiet, or stop whatever rude and stupid thing they are doing that makes you not able to enjoy the movie, you will sit normally but if they are going to talk so you can't hear then they are not going to see.

Throwing the teddy bear really did take some guts!

Next, we'll be living on Navy ships in the middle of the ocean.

We just have to make a trade with Canada. We'll give them the UP, maybe part of Maine and we get Newfoundland so we can use it for a prison colony. As an added bonus, it gives us a great strategic launching point for our impending war with the French; it's a quick 20 minute boat-ride away. The French won't know what hit them.
