Which "Feel Good Movie" gets you emotional?

Yes, this is another post inspired by my wife. This time she got a call from her mom telling my wife that one of my wife's favorite movies of all time -- Auntie Mame (Rosalind Russell) She said even though the movie ends on a happy note she still cries every time she sees it. I have no clue why and I just wonder do other people out there have a movie that gets them emotional like my wife does with Auntie Mame?

Can't watch the last scene without bawling my eyes out. Course, I'm a HUGE Italophile, and Sicily is a little gem of a place buried under mob myths, so this film is a great capture of its culture. Just have at least one box of Kleenex at hand!

because I always cry even though I've seen it a thousand times. Oh and Homeward Bound: The Amazing Journey makes me sob when the dog says "my boy, my boy, my favorite boy." (I actually almost cried just thinking about it)

It goes from the cruddy apartment to the bus to the beach -- "I hope" as the camera flies over the blue Pacific.

I'm not sure if it qualifies as a "feel good" movie, but dammit, I cry each and every time I see it. Still.

It's a Wonderful Life, Shawshank Redemption and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

I don't know if Schindler's List counts, but that always gets me too.

when Casey is asked to say words over Grandpa's grave:

If I was to pray, I wouldn't pray for just an old man that's dead - because he's alright.
If I was to pray I'd pray for them that's alive
and don't know which way to turn.

The "Odd Couple" pairing of Steve Martin and John Candy really paid off on that one. Best Thanksgiving movie EVER.
