I'm fucked because I have no fucking short-term memory.

I was on Medifast but quit. Medifast automatically refills your order each month and, of course, debits your card/bank account.

Guess who just screwed herself out of 300 fucking dollars because she forgot to cancel?!!

Class Action August 4th, 2011

On August 4, 2011, a nationwide class action was filed against Columbia House (Direct Brands Inc.) seeking monetary damages and an injunction stopping Direct Brands Inc. alleged business practices of unauthorized credit card charges, inability to cancel, unwanted products being mailed to homes and several other alleged issues.

was built up by subscribing to them. Yes it was a pain in the ass to get it cancelled. Back in the 70's/80's.

It was impossible to stop them from sending things out.

I finally stopped it, don't remember how.

I lost 36 pounds last year on Medifast. I thought, why not try it again? I was two weeks into my first shipment and had only consumed about one week's worth of food. I could not stick with it. I got some encouragement from a friend to try another way to lose weight and so decided to ditch Medifast altogether.

So no, I won't be eating it.

But thanks for weighing in. Heh.
