Toddlers & Tiaras Mom Files $30 Million Libel Suit: You "Sexualized" My Daughter!

Toddlers & Tiaras Mom Files $30 Million Libel Suit: You "Sexualized" My Daughter!

In case you've never watched Toddlers & Tiaras, a word of advice: Try not to tick off a pageant mom.

Susanna Barrett has filed a $30 million libel suit against the parent companies of TMZ, the Huffington Post, London's Daily Mail for their allegedly "brazen attempts to sexualize" her 5-year-old daughter, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

In her suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Barrett claims that the sites posted a video (originally a TMZ exclusive) of her daughter singing along to LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" in a restaurant—along with stories that blew the entire performance out of proportion.

Someone told me last night that this is the same woman that dressed her daughter up as Julia Roberts hooker character from Pretty Woman.

Must be the most popular tv series in history with the pedophile demographic.

Sick people all the way around.

Just for providing a market for it.

I can't even imagine why anyone would want to watch that crap. I would rather sit through a video of Steven Seagal's latest colonoscopy.

the "Not An Onion Story -- No, Seriously!" category.

The video shows the little girl sitting right next to the DJ and singing into a mike, so there must have been some parental consent involved. And if her mother found the song itself objectionable, she should have put a stop to it on the spot.

P.S. Was it past her bedtime?

I guess TLC does a repeat every night around 6am.

It's amazing how sad these women's lives are that they would degrade their daughters like this. I remember watching one episode and the little girl kept screaming 'no' all the time even though the mother swore this is what her 3 year old daughter really wants.

These women should be turned into CPS if you ask me.

BTW my other option is the TV next to it with food cooking shows on it.

and clobber them with a dumbbell. You may very well save a child's life and sanity.

I find that a 5-pounder provides enough heft and momentum without sacrificing speed or the element of surprise.
