I never honk, or drive with hostility, but I'm definitely an impatient driver. My motto behind the wheel is: 'Go fast, or go home!'

I'm horrible behind the wheel ... only some of the time tho .
I don't usually speed but IMO we all have felt the "please not me".

you're doing it for a living, and have to follow a time-table, or a specific route, or something...

If we're off-route we could be shutdown.
Our permit can be pulled.
The truck driver will get a ticket.
Then there is a curfew cause rush hour is no place for us to be slow poking along.

I love the open road with a load that can run 55. [img][/img]

"If you don't stop tailgating me, shithead, I'm going to gradually slow this car down to a crawl and then maybe your dim shitheaded brain will realize that there's another lane you can move into to pass me. Shithead."

This week they kelp sticking me out in front of the truck.
It's difficult to keep a proper distance between the truck's front bumper and my back bumper, sometimes I'm too far ahead of a load moving 15 to 35 MPH when the limit is 55. I've got to run slow, just go around me ... cause tailgating me isn't going to move me any faster.

you would have laryngitis before you reached your destination down here.

This is the land of more "single vehicle-leaving the road at high speed- rolling over-or hitting tree" incidents than anywhere I have ever driven.
Did I mention no seatbelts?

EVERY single week at least 2 stories are reported in our county alone.

Apparently there is an unwritten code that anything under 50 mph is for sissies.
In a 30 mph zone, never mind the actual highway.
Since I live on a hill next to a 2 lane road 250 feet away, I can hear *crash *bang! several times a month just on this road.

I use my emergency blinkers to slow down the ones that can't go around right away.
