Loneliness doesn't scare me as it does other people. Some people believe that any relationship is better than none. Not me. Being by yourself is far better than being in an emotionally and/or physically abusive relationship or being with someone that you don't love.


Also, just because you're in a relationship does not automatically mean that you're not lonely.

I feel sorry for people who are so insecure that they can't be alone with themselves. I've been alone and I've been in bad relationships, and believe me, alone is way better.

I think accepting solitude really boils down to liking yourself, and liking yourself enough to not settle for less.

My dad always told me its better to be alone than wish you were alone and for me and my life it was so true.
