Many of you know what a horrible time we've been having lately re Mrs. Venation's health and her mom's stuff.

So let's pile some more on.

Mrs. V. had a mole removed last week. Today we learned that it is malignant melanoma.

Can't we just catch a break?

Old timers know that I'm not always such a downer, honestly . . . I just really wish that we could catch a break.

17. Horrible scary stuff.

My dad recently had a big scary thing cut out of his own skin. Doctors are pretty sure they got it all, even though it left such a big hole they were talking about skin grafts for awhile.

I've had things cut out of me too and spent sleepless nights waiting for the pathology reports... I was a white kid on Southern California beaches when people thought tans were healthy... I suffered a few blistering burns. I've got too much skin that is not pretty. Sun scars and weird stuff.

Best vibes that the scary thing in Mrs. V's skin is all gone...

20. Yeah, Cuban food is the best. Lived in Miami most of my life

and went to some really fantastic Cuban restaurants. And they really pile the food on the plates.
