Will couldn't make it; he joined the lads at the Globe for rehearsals this morning.

Rehearsals in the mornings, performances in the afternoons.

A player usually has around 3-7 days to learn a part as long as 800+ lines...

Rhyme and meter are important aids to memorization, which is why Will wrote so many of his plays in verse.
