Brandy idea sounds pretty good, too. Good way to take the winter chill off a bit.


Driving has slowed for a few days due to cold weather here. Crews can't dig holes in frozen dirt, and plants don't take well to transplanting in it either. So until it warms up a bit, I won't be hauling much. (Won't be getting many paid hours in either, sad to say.)

Mr ITW's pick-up is parked in a you-store-it location at $82 per month.

I'm still waiting to be paid on all of my jobs since early October. That should more than take care getting the truck back on the road. Until then I'll be driving Mr ITW to his part time job twice a week.
My car has a few small problems that I baby along. It's got over 175,000 miles on it.

...the term sweetbreads is actually a benign-sounding pseudonym for the paired thymus glands and pancreas of milk-fed veal or calves. (You can also find inferior pork or lamb sweetbreads if you look hard enough.) The rounder pancreas gland near the heart is more prized than the tubular thymus throat gland. The pancreas gland has a more delicate flavor and smoother texture.
