Of going to The damn friends league 'just ti look'- now mind The fact that we had a 23 year old girl at home! I myst have had. Sign on my Back saying SUCKER because we Saw Tabby, Who was 1 year old And al ready had a litter of Kittens. She had some trauma to her tail, most likely causes by a human. 😟
So we brought home her And This beautiful 7 year old tuxedo boy, Oreo. We could't decide which kitty And The woman told US we could have a two for one- What a deal!
Sadly Oreo has passed to Rainbow Bridge, but i expect Tabby to be here at least another ten years at least. Have a great Sunday!

My cat was my first pet. Sure, we had various pets growing up, but they were the family's pets. This time, while he showed up as a stray and my past-wife was the one that took him in initially. Even after our divorce, I kept him and was his "daddy" ever since. The bonds were strong. I'm just glad he's out of pain now...

However, our tree does sit out in our yard until the snow is all gone, and provides shelter for some little critters.

Our town recycling center does chip the trees up, and everyone in town can get mulch.
Not ideal, perhaps, but better than just discarding with no use, eh?

165. Hey, this happened in our home

many years ago. Mom would buy a whole chicken and then would clean and cut it. And there was an alley cat that would come to our home for leftovers. So that cat would get from the outside stairs into the kitchen window and would play tug of war with mom over the chicken..

Love the pooch in the baby seat, though..
