@ WWII era, we found that Time had a weekly "cat in an odd situation" with a caption each week.
Made me laugh out loud!

In fact, it is believed the urge to caption funny cat pictures led to the creation of writing in the first place. (It is believed by me and by lolcats.)

Pyramids, extra-terrestrials, cats-----mankind stumbling out of the plains and there were the cats. Just too coincidental for me.
