When my son was three I bought a big green ball with "horns" to hold while you sit on it and bounce. We took it directly to the park, I inflated it, and my son sat on it and took off across the lawn saying, "Bing-a, bing-a, bing-a!", with each bounce. If you ever need a gift for a little kid, that is a good one.
