My cat has turned into a little Ess-Oh-Bee

Licked trench in butter I was softening, knocked bag of cat food of counter and ripped it apart even though there was food in his dish, whines to go out and whines to come in 2 minutes later.

He has been running through the house yowling. Nothing is wrong with him, he's just turned into a brat. Today he tried to snag cheese off my plate. Then when I go to sleep, he''s my little purr box and snuggles so I won't kill him.

He may be bored and trying to get your attention. Have you seen the tv show "My Cat From Hell"? Lots of good info on there. It helped us.

3. A static toy is fine but he'll tire of that quickly.....

because he wants YOUR attention. We bought a great toy that is a bunch of feathers attached to a semi-flexible plastic wand via a plastic cord. Whipping it back and forth it sounds like a bird flying and the rapid motion gets their attention and permits them to chase it around as you move it. Do you have a kitty tree so he can have a perch that is his?

It is the most amazing pet toy for the price ($5.00 or less). They would play all day with this if their caretaker could last that long. Ten minutes of it does me in.... Then everyone goes and takes a nap, including me.

pointer too. Some cats love to chase the laser light.

4. My cat likes to get into a fight with the water dripping from the kitchen faucet

If I go near the kitchen sink and he's around, he'll jump up on the counter. I then sometimes turn on the faucet just enough so there's a fast drip coming out. Spaz Kat then likes to sit in the sink and whack at the dripping water with his paws or try to bite it. This can entertain the Spaz for sometime.

.....check to make sure he is peeing regularly. An adult male cat can have a urinary tract obstruction that can make him yowl and act unusual. Try to get him to drink -- tuna juice or chicken broth (unsalted) can tempt him to drink.

Just a thought.

buy a pack of 3 ping-pong balls. If you toss one the tic-tic-tic sound it makes when bouncing seems to attract cat's attention, and it doesn't take much of a cat tap or swat to make it bounce off of another surface.

He needs something to do besides pester you. Find some interesting toys that will keep him occupied (like a laser pointer).
