omg--who ARE these people on coasttocoastam???

they ramble, they stumble, they talk in circles, they sound like they're drunk!

every once in awhile i turn on george noory's show and notice how these "guests" hawking their book/s CAN'T SEEM TO COMPLETE A FREAKIN' SENTENCE OR THOUGHT in a coherent way!

but the bumper music they play is always pretty good.

tonight: time tripping or stopping or hiccuping or something
AND
quantum blablablablabla and when i was a little girl i used to think blablablabla
so i wrote my book blablablabla website blablablabla

ugh.

on edit: stand by your man is not my idea of good music (which they are playing now). so, i take it back. their bumper music is not always pretty good.

I couldn't take it for very long. Some of the guests just repeat the same things over & over, and others can't answer a simple question without going off on long, rambling tangents that have nothing to do with the question at all. The commercials bugged me even more -- they were mostly deceptively-worded ads for weight-loss products and "natural" remedies. It's a shame because occasionally they have a subject I'm really interested in, but the guests are total kooks most of the time.

Yeah, I work nights and get off at 11:30pm. Luckily, it's a short commute.

I'm always pretty impressed at George's demeanor and how he can take all of the crazy in a measured and respectful tone. It can be a bit of a hoot. And yeah, the bumper music is often pretty good.

most of the callers are, shall we say, "assets" if you know what I mean. Not only are all of their sponsors RW crap, but so is much of George Noory's thinly veiled political views- never mind that newer guy John B. Wells. Wells' views aren't even thinly veiled. I sure miss the days of Art Bell.

my mom used to listen to the show. i'd still be up and in the living room and she'd come out of her room and tell me about the show. (she did it when noory took over too but she was with me longer if i go back to art bell.) i miss my mom.

I just heard about coasttocoastam from a colleague. He said they attract a lot of teabaggy types.
