I want sunday to be over so I can get to work on monday.

My default position is that I love my job - I work for a large not-for-profit doing work that is interesting to me, helps my community and it involves a reasonable amount of travel that I get decent overtime for. However, like nearly everyone with a Mon thru Fri job, I also love my weekends and no matter how much you love your job, it's still a job and it's nice to get a break.

But I just want to get to work on Monday. Becaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuse I have been given some expanded duties and to help me perform them my boss is giving me his less-than-year-old Asus laptop. 17" screen, i7 processor, nVidia graphics, 750gb hdd, 8 gigs of ram! Smmmmmmmmmokin! I'll have to lug it around but that's cool. I need the exercise.

Geek heaven up in here. I been running a 5 year old Toshiba that works but it shocks me if I touch the case wrong and it isn't really suitable for what I'll need to be doing.

w00t!

Enjoy your new toy, er tool!

The laptop sounds wonderful, and I hope it will really help you do your work!
