Once the precipitation starts, I am not leaving the house. Ain't no way I'm going to be on the roads around here in the event of any winter precipitation. I made my weekly grocery run this morning, so I'm okay in that regard. No need to go anywhere. And, if something comes up, Kroger is only a mile away--close enough to walk.

I saw that we could potentially get 5"-12" of snow over the next day or two. I'm not holding my breath on that one. I suspect we'll get only a couple of inches. I worry more about ice.

Not that we really are, but we have built some extra skin and some cold bearing skills over the years. And we have equipment to move the snow.

Good Luck and I hope it don't last long.

I am not even cold in the 40's anymore.

This summer will be rough.

After reading what Northerners go through in Winter I feel like a wimp complaining about the cold but seriously, this has been a cold Winter for us.

and I have had two busted pipes within two weeks. I let my water drip, but one pipe broke. Then last week, I had another break. My son was able to repair the breaks. But today, I discovered I had no hot water, so I fear that there is another leak. I have let the faucets drip and have a heater running under the house. I have lived here since 1989 and this is the first time I have had busted pipes.

I do not sleep well in freezing weather.

This looks like pipe busting weather.

Just tiny little flakes but there are a lot of them. They're saying we're going to get from 1-3 inches!
