and there but it is something. He was actually moving around and hanging out for a few minutes with the other cats. The one cat (Snowy) is trying to be playful but Brody wants nothing to do with him.

My wife was able to pick up Brody and he was trying to purr it didn't sound good but it was a purr.

Thanks for the support.

Maybe you could try some turkey, chicken, or beef. My dog loves turkey, and chicken hearts & gizzards.

has been sick and eating less so I have been smearing chicken baby food over his prescription diet to get him to eat more. This seems to help and gets him to eat more. He seems to like Gerber brand best, just chicken and chicken gravy, nothing else. Drinking seems to stimulate cats' appetites too. I missed your earlier post about Brody. Does he have other health issues? Maybe he has an upset stomach, that would keep a pet from eating. I just ordered some cat digestive enzymes from Amazon to help with this issue. My vet told me yesterday I can give my cat a small amount of Pepcid (Famotidine 10 mg tablet), 1/4 tablet by mouth or crushed in food once daily for upset stomach too.

Also, there are high calorie nutrient pastes too, to keep his weight up. Amazon has several, one is Nutri-cal and Petsmart sells a GNC brand of paste like this. Good luck with Brody. If you haven't had him to the vet for awhile or if he is close to the time of his annual check-up you might just bring him in anyway. My cat wasn't due for a check-up for a few more months but wasn't acting like himself so I brought him in and he had a whole bunch of new health issues. He is an elderly cat and I'm so glad I brought him in so he could be treated sooner rather than later. Good luck with Brody.
