Not to be forgotten that it's early March, a reminder in the form of a late-season winter storm will rear it's ugly head on Wednesday/Thursday for many of us this week from the Rockies, Ohio valley and Northeast.
I'm crying "UNCLE" here already!
First day of Spring is only a week and a half away fer crying out loud!
Unfortunately, this impacts my work schedule greatly.
Generally mid-March is when I head back to work full time.
Another 7"-12" of snow will push that schedule back even further unless we begin an uneptected moderating temperature trend next week.
Dear winter: please?

(10,575 posts)Winter Storms: A Note About Names
The Weather Channel will name the V storm Winter Storm Vulcan. The Association of Decoded Scientists (ADS) deems this name inappropriate and will use the name Winter Storm Vicky instead.
After all, Vulcan is the Roman god of fire, so the name should be reserved for volcanoes or forest fires. In addition, there could be confusion because of the Star Trek connection. There is no reason to bring Mr. Spock into a discussion of terrestrial weather.

Then it warms up again.
And for those calling this "late winter," we've had snow here in Sheboygan, in May.
