After finding an idyllic place to establish a new shelter, the group starts to question whether it is possible to go back to the way things were.I've heard tonight's episode is very intense- "excruciating" is what Chad Coleman says. "Brutal" from Spoiler TV.
Supposedly, it was available early for download by mistake in the UK, so there are some juicy spoilers out there for tonight.

(145,046 posts)According to another site, in the comic one brother kills another brother. While the grownups discuss the issue, Carl kills the murdering brother because he is a danger to group http://comicbook.com/blog/2014/03/16/the-walking-dead-lizzie-and-mika-compared-to-ben-and-billy/
In The Walking Dead #61, Ben brutally kills his twin brother and then, caught in the act again (this time by Andrea), tells her Dont worry, hes going to come back. I didnt hurt his brains.
After locking him away, the group debates on killing Ben to protect themselves. With Dale taking a strong no for obvious reasons, it feels a bit like a scene they later did in the second season of The Walking Dead when the group had captured Randall and was debating what to do about him. The adults take no immediate action but that night, Carl sneaks into the van where Ben is locked up and shoots him.
Carl, of course, isnt anywhere near Lizzie and Mika. Because of both proximity and dramatic value, I and many others have speculated that if Lizzie were to kill Mika, it would have to be Carol who puts her down.
So, ultimately, how close? Well, they arent boys and they arent twins but in a number of other ways their stories sync up disturbingly well. Even the different adoptive parents can be explained simply (in the comic book series, Carol was dead by this point in the story, while Andrea and Dale were still alive. On TV, its flipped).

(49,445 posts)First time in TWD I didn't see it on premiere night!
Got home from the GF's house at about 9:15, so I figured I catch the replay at 11... but found out my grandmother was in the ER because her blood sugar had spiked and insulin wasn't bringing it down. So I took my mom there; we got home a little after midnight.
Then I was watching it Monday night, and about 50 minutes into the episode (watching via my cable company's "On Demand" service... and the damn cat stretches out and hits the remote, changing the channel!
I wound up losing my place, and because it was the new episode, the fast forward feature was disabled!
It was too late to wait 50 minutes to catch up to where I was, so I wound up avoiding the fans at work and DU for all of Monday AND Tuesday until I could finally watch the ending.
Holy shit, I knew Lizzie was disturbed... the twisted logic she had was frightening. But that was just a stunner. Wow.
I had thought Mika was the new hope for the next generation...
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)and, yes it was a disturbing episode
krispos42
(49,445 posts)...at least physically. She's in assisted living, so when the insulin didn't work, they sent her to the hospital. But she's been combative all week, so that was fun, trying to soothe her so they could work on her.
Yay.

(2,049 posts)No spoilers from the comic readers, please.
This week's episode was tough to watch and very well executed. But it left me wondering where the story goes from here and how it can be brought to a close. This week seemed like a microcosm of their new world. Brief moments of comfort and humanity followed by grotesque moral judgments and rationalizations.
I guess they could find a new prison or a better Woodbury....
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)The "prison" arc in the comic concluded with Lori and Judith dying as the group fled the prison in Issue #48. On the show, it took them 3.5 seasons to get past the prison arc.
The comic itself is now around Issue 122 or 123, I think. If they go through the subsequent storylines at the same pace, the show will need another 6-7 or so seasons to get where they are now in the comics.
You still have:
1) the Eugene to Washington storyline
2) the Terminus/Sanctuary storyline and how it brings everybody back together
3) Morgan is still out there somewhere. Will he ever return?
4) Where is Beth,?
5) Daryl and his group?
