Luna has given up staring at BellaDonna

She's napping in her corner. This morning, she meowed quietly a few times, attracting his attention. And then started growling and hissing at him

She was quite hungry, ate everything I left her last night, and then 1/2 cup of kibble this morning. She left a few kibbles...not sure if she's saving them for later jic, or just had her fill.

She seems to like being patted again, and rubs against me to establish ownership. She hadn't done that before. Maybe the supercold winter has led her to appreciate the human who didn't dump her?

the first few weeks after she was kidnapped. After she has her shots, I will move her back to the barn. She was very happy there for the 3 months that she lived here. It has 8' cat walks. The rough-cut hemlock walls are like a giant scratching post. When I left food out for her all those months, mice moved into the walls so there's a large supply of mice to hunt.

I'm just hoping she'll stick around the barn and eat her food, so it doesn't attract mice any more.
