I love these shoes. I still have my first pair that I bought back in the mid 90s and they still fit well and are great to wear when I know I'll be doing alot of standing and walking.
I needed a pair of all black shoes I can wear when I work my volunteer job as an usher so just bought my 3rd pair. I love these things - they fit so well!!
Sure I'll spend $100 + on these shoes but I know that these are shoes that I will have for years, maybe even decades.

(66,274 posts)I own about six pairs. Including a pair of brown low-top Oxfords, which I'm wearing right now. Great for a busy day in clinic. I've worn this pair 6 or 7 times a month for about 13 years. Still in great shape. Only changed the laces once. These things are incredible.

(11,357 posts)I got my first-ever pair this winter because I was tired of "winter" boots that leaked or hurt my feet or wore out in half a season. They took a few weeks to break in, and the fit is not much better than any other boot I've worn, but they've been working out pretty well. If I still wear them three years from now, then I'll know if I'm a "fan".
Mine are the standard, leather, 8-eyelet sort.
