I have a question--pot butter and a Left Ventricular Assist Device?

Hi gang….I have a friend who has an LVAD due to a heart attack and failure. Smoking is verboten because the THC would stick to the heart pump.

Does anyone know anything about such a situation? Would butter be ok for her?

The thing that confuses me is that her cardiologist says the THC would stick to the pump, but the pump doesn't come in direct contact with breathing or lungs; it only contacts the heart muscle and blood. So it doesn't exactly make sense to me, since I didn't think the THC that enters the bloodstream is resinous or sticky. But I'm not going to argue with her doctors.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Either he thinks his patient is ignorant and he can say anything or he is ignorant and willing to say anything.
Edible marijuana products have been found as or more effective than smoking. Many former smokers have switched.
Either way no THC is wandering around in your blood stream with the ability to "stick" to anything.

If there was anything "with sticky properties" in the bloodstream, you'd be having problems way before you ever had a computer device installed to make your heart work!!
