Anyone here "fix" electronics for some dummy?

I mean people who have no idea what they are doing, like this customer.



My Dad during the 1960's fixed TV's, he had one woman who couldn't get her brand-new color TV to work.
Until my Dad plugged it in.

issue with a Smartboard, video whiteboard. Plugged it in and left. Likely the cleaning crew or a young student, Elementary school, had unplugged it.

the best (probably apochryphal) failure mode reported on the radar system I worked on was:

Radar Inoperable with ON/OFF switch in Over Field Flight mode.



(We actually respected our air crews a bit more than that would indicate, but, yeah.)
